Mythology Inspired Makeup Lab

Q You must choose ONE of the environments in the Monsters, Creatures Denizens Slideshow Actions . If you choose to create another environment, it must be approved ahead of time. Design and execute an original Monster /Creature/Denizen Inspired stage makeup design for a large venue on your entire face. Your character should make sense as a resident in the environment you choose from the options in the slideshow. It must be suitable to be a stage character (not a face painting) and should include your ears and neck if appropriate. (You must be clean shaven for every lab) You should incorporate any techniques that would be appropriate in your design (creams, setting powder, layering -if you have the right pressed powder colors, eyebrow blocking, line precision, etc.). It is up to you as the designer to make those choices. Your submission must include ALL of the following elements to be considered for grading: • 5-10 reference images for your character design and should be labeled to indicate what part of it was inspiration for you. • A fully developed typewritten Character Analysis (1-2 pages) that includes all 6 physical determinants in some way. • Indicate which of the Environments you have chosen for your character in your Character Analysis. • 2-3 photos of your full-face finished makeup application (at least one front and one profile) All of these components must be combined into one PDF with multiple pages that are ALL in portrait layout (no sideways images). Each face chart & photo of your finished makeup application must be on it's own page; reference images must be no more that 4 to a page (no collages) . No file formats other than PDFs will be considered for grading. If you don't know how to make a multiple page PDF, please contact IT Student Support & Software. (Links to an external site.)
